My New House

BEFORE

These first pics are what my house looked like BEFORE closing.  Overall
it  wasn't in too bad a shape, except for the broken windows and old lighting
which I definitely had to replace.  The house was built in 1965 so there
was definitely some old stuff.  We wound up doing a lot more though and
when you look at the pictures below, notice not just the new windows
and lighting, but new appliances, new wood trim everywhere, new
mantle, hell even the ceilings were redone.  I replaced all the burned out
electrical outlets, added dimmers, fixed up the yard, added a
workshop in the garage and so much more.

AFTER
And this is what the house looks like now, mostly finished.  There is always more to do
but the major remodeling is done and I'm well on my way to having it decorated to my liking.
I'll replace these pics with updated ones as I make some progress!

Update 3/18/05:
I finally took some pics with all the new art in the living room as well as the new Log-Style Dining Table
Many of these pics are out of date, even the living room ones I just updated cuz I finally finished all my wood work last weekend, after I took the pics!
Lol, it's so hard staying on top of all these changes!  Here are some examples:
My bedroom's got a new comforter, the office has new shelves, the guestroom has been cleaned up, there are new lights in the kitchen and laundry room, etc.
I'll be working on finishing up the office, guestroom and bedroom next and I'll just take pics once most of the work is done.
I'm also taking a landscape architecture class so expect some drastic improvements to the yard as well.
